Asalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

For all those who have purchased tickets to the cruise.

Jazakallah for purchasing a ticket. May Allah ta’alaa reward you abundantly.

This cruise is the first of its kind in Nottingham, and it has been organized with two aims in mind. Firstly, and most importantly, it has been arranged for the benefit of our imaan. As the month of rabee ul awal is passing, we thought we should arrange a gathering to remember our noble master, Muhammed (peace and blessings be upon him), where we can talk about his greatness and read some poetry regarding his blessed self. Secondly, the cruise has been arranged with the community in mind. We thought this would be a good way for parents and children to enjoy a nice afternoon trip in an Islamic environment! May Allah ta’alaa help us achieve both our goals, ameen.

The timetable for the day is as follows: (Note: Zohar salaah needs to be read before coming to the boat as facilities are not provided)

13.00 - 13.30:  Boarding time

13.30 - 16.30:  Cruise will commence and end at these times (prompt arrival necessary as boat will depart on time)

The cruise will last for three hours, during which we will be having a talk delivered to us by Maulana Imran bin Adam, who is an imam and one of the senior teachers at Jame Masjid, Leicester. Also, we have arranged for anasheed to be presented and qiraat to be recited by students from Leicester.

Snacks, which will consist of Tea, scones, sandwiches (chicken & veg) and other varieties, will be provided during the cruise. Please be assured all meat provided as snacks on board are HMC approved. Please kindly refrain from bringing any food or drink on board as this is against the boat company’s policy.

The boat will depart from: (click here for directions with map)

Also, we humbly insist that all our mothers and sisters come to the trip adhering to the Islamic dress code as this is not only a cruise but it is also a trip which will be celebrating our noble master’s (peace be upon him) life.

Finally, we pray that you enjoy your cruise on the ocean of love.

Jazakallah
